Hi there! My name is Vanessa. I'm a hybrid researcher/designer based in San Francisco.
I am endlessly curious about people; those who know me best know that I'm not shy about asking the tough (and sometimes awkward) questions, and getting down to the root of an issue. Most recently, I've been untangling the knots of the fast fashion industry for my MA in Service Design at the University of the Arts London. In a past life, I graduated with a degree in Communication from the University of Southern California, and I'm still using those communication skills to simplify complexity and translate ideas into action.
My innate fascination with people was what led me down the design path, and I truly believe that championing the user throughout the design process makes for the most meaningful experiences.
In my free time, you'll find me voraciously devouring Medium articles, taking pictures of architecture, or having deep conversations with anyone who has the time.
